SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained stable over the past week at NTD 7,100-7,800/mt ($241-265/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have moved sideways over the past week at NTD 32,500-35,000/mt ($1,102-1,187/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid-August shipments.
