SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have decreased by NTD 200/mt during the past week to NTD 7,100-7,400/mt ($233-243/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have increased by NTD 1,000/mt over the past week to NTD 32,000-35,000/mt ($1,050-1,148/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late July shipments.
