Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 27

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have decreased by NTD 300/mt over the past week to NTD 7,600-8,300/mt ($258-282/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained stable over the past week at NTD 32,500-35,000/mt ($1,103-1,188/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid-July shipments.
