Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 26

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have increased by NTD 300/mt over the past week to NTD 7,900-8,500/mt ($267-287/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained stable over the past week at NTD 32,500-35,000/mt ($1,098-1,182/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early and mid-July shipments.
