SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained stable during the past week at NTD 10,400-10,900/mt ($345-361/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have moved sideways over the past week at NTD 38,200-40,700/mt ($1,267-1,349/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early August shipments.
