SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained stable over the past week at NTD 7,300-7,900/mt ($246-266/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have increased by NTD 1,000/mt over the past week to NTD 32,500-35,000/mt ($1,094-1,178/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late June and early July shipments.
