Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 24

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have increased by NTD 200/mt over the past week to NTD 8,800-9,200/mt ($280-293/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained stable over the past week at NTD 32,500-35,000/mt ($1,033-1,113/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early July shipments.
