Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 23

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have increased by NTD 200/mt over the past week to NTD 8,600-9,000/mt ($274-286/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have increased by NTD 1,000/mt over the past week to NTD 32,500-35,000/mt ($1,034-1,132/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late June shipments.
