SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have declined by NTD 300/mt during the past week to NTD 10,600-11,100/mt ($356-373/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have moved sideways over the past week at NTD 38,200-40,700/mt ($1,283-1,367/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for middle and late July shipments.
