SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained stable over the past week at NTD 7,300-7,900/mt ($244-264/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have moved sideways over the past week at NTD 31,500-34,000/mt ($1,051-1,134/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid-June shipments.
