Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 21

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have moved sideways during the past week at NTD 6,900-7,200/mt ($230-240/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
 
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have declined by NTD 200/mt over the past week to NTD 32,800-37,800/mt ($1,091-1,257/mt) ex-yard.
 
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for middle and end of June shipments.
 
$1 = NTD 30.06
