SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have increased by NTD 200/mt during the past week to NTD 10,900-11,400/mt ($364-380/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have moved sideways over the past week at NTD 38,200-40,700/mt ($1,274-1,358/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early July shipments.
