SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon
scrap in
Taiwan have declined by NTD 200/mt during the past week to NTD 7,900-8,800/mt ($246-274/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel
scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have decreased by NTD 1,000/mt over the past week to NTD 35,000-40,000/mt ($1,090-1,246/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late January or early February shipments.
