Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 2

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have declined by NTD 200/mt ($6/mt) since last week and are now quoted at NTD 8,200-9,100/mt ($256-285/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
 
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained unchanged at NTD 43,500-46,500/mt ($1,360-1,454/mt) ex-yard.
 
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for end of January and early February shipments.
