SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 7,800-8,100/mt ($259-269/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained stable over the past week at NTD 33,500-36,000/mt ($1,114-1,197/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for middle and late January shipments.
