Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 19

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have decreased by NTD 100/mt over the past week to NTD 8,700-9,100/mt ($281-294/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have moved sideways over the past week at NTD 31,500-34,000/mt ($1,019-1,100/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early June shipments.
