SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have moved down by NTD 200/mt over the past week to NTD 8,800-9,200/mt ($285-298/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained stable over the past week at NTD 31,500-34,000/mt ($1,021-1,102/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late May and early June shipments.
