Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 16

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have moved down by NTD 500/mt over the past week to NTD 9,000-9,400/mt ($292-305/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained stable over the past week at NTD 31,500-34,000/mt ($1,021-1,102/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late May shipments.
