SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have decreased by NTD 300/mt over the past week to NTD 6,800-7,100/mt ($225-234.9/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained stable over the past week at NTD 31,500-34,000/mt ($1,042-1,125/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late April and early May shipments.
