SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have moved sideways during the past week at NTD 11,300-11,800/mt ($388-405/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 37,500-41,000/mt ($1,288-1,408/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early May shipments.
