SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained stable over the past week at NTD 10,000-10,700/mt ($350-375/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have NTD 3,000 ($105/mt) over the past week to NTD 36,500-39,000/mt ($1,278-1,366/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late April shipments.
