Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 13

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have moved up by NTD 600/mt over the past week to NTD 10,600-11,000/mt ($344-357/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have increased by INR 1,000/mt over the past week to NTD 31,500-34,000/mt ($1,022-1,103/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late April shipments.

$1 = NTD 30.83
