SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have moved down by NTD 100/mt on the lower end over the past week to NTD 10,000-10,400/mt ($324-337/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained stable over the past week at NTD 30,500-33,000/mt ($990-1,071/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid-April shipments.
