SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have increased by NTD 600/mt during the past week to NTD 11,300-11,800/mt ($387-404/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 37,500-41,000/mt ($1,285-1,405/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid-April shipments.
