Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 11

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have moved up by NTD 300/mt on the lower end during the past week to NTD 8,300-8,600/mt ($268-278/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
 
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have decreased by NTD 500/mt on the upper end over the past week to NTD 35,500-39,500/mt ($1,147-1,277/mt) ex-yard.
 
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early April shipments.
