SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have moved down by NTD 100/mt on the upper end over the past week to NTD 10,100-10,400/mt ($326-336/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have moved up by NTD 300/mt over the past week to NTD 30,500-33,000/mt ($987-1,068/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early April shipments.
