Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 10

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have moved up by NTD 300/mt on the lower end during the past week to NTD 8,000-8,600/mt ($259-266/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
 
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have increased by NTD 500/mt on the lower end over the past week to NTD 35,500-40,000/mt ($1,147-1,293/mt) ex-yard.
 
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late March shipments.
 
$1 = NTD 30.94
