Carbon and stainless scrap prices dip in Taiwanese domestic market - week 21

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan are now at NTD 10,700-11,400/mt ($357-381/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis, indicating a decrease of NTD 200/mt ($7/mt) since last week.
 
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market stand at NTD 45,000-49,000/mt ($1,503-1,637/mt) ex-yard, declining by NTD 1,000/mt ($33/mt) over the same period.
 
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid-June shipments.
