On July 25, SteelOrbis reported that scrap prices to Bangladesh from the UK and EU trended down to $372-380/mt for containerized shredded scrap and $350-360/mt CFR for HMS I/II 80:20.

Sources inform SteelOrbis that due to the decline of scrap prices in the global market, Bangladesh imported scrap offers have also declined. Scrap offer prices from various regions including the UK and EU are presently at $362-370/mt CFR while HMS I/II 80:20 scrap offer prices are at $345-355/mt CFR. Compared to a week ago, containerized shredded scrap offer prices have declined $10/mt while HMS I/II 80:20 offer prices have declined $5/mt.
