Wire rod prices in Turkey mainly stable

Local Turkish wire rod prices have mostly remained unchanged, only rising by $10/mt in Thrace due to the limited supply in the local market ahead of the Feast of Sacrifice holiday. The suppliers are expected to revise their wire rod prices after the holiday.

Mills in Iskenderun had stopped quoting wire rod prices for a while and have recently started to quote for September delivery. Most mills are offering material for September deliveries amid ongoing orders for limited tonnages either from stock or earlier delivery.
