Wire rod prices in Indian market - week 27

SteelOrbis has learned that in the Indian domestic market steel producers have reduced their wire rod offers by $20-25/mt at the beginning of this week. Accordingly, mesh quality wire rod prices are currently at $690-720/mt, while their drawing quality wire rod quotations are now at $720-750/mt. Both prices ranges are ex-mill and include local taxes.

Meanwhile, a deal for boron-added mesh quality wire rod from China to India has been concluded at $650/mt CFR for August shipments.
