Wire rod prices from Turkey’s Aegean region increase by $10/mt

SteelOrbis has been informed that offers from a producer in Turkey’s Aegean region for 5.5-16 mm wire rod are at $515/mt ex-works in Izmir, while its offers for 20MnB4 grade are at $620/mt ex-works, both excluding 18 percent VAT and for cash payments.

In addition, the producer’s offers for 5.5-16 mm wire rod are at $525/mt delivered to Istanbul and its offers for 20MnB4 grade are at $630/mt delivered to Istanbul, both excluding 18 percent VAT and for cash payments. The offers in question are $10/mt higher than the producer’s previous list prices announced on August 19, when all prices were increased by $10/mt compared to August 5.
