Vietnam’s Formosa Ha Tinh reduces domestic wire rod prices

SteelOrbis has been informed that Vietnamese producer Formosa Ha Tinh has reduced its domestic wire rod prices by $16/mt for August shipment. Accordingly, the mill’s prices for GCWQ grade wire rod are at $554/mt CIF, while its prices for MQ and MQ2 grade wire rod are at $540/mt CIF and $522/mt CIF, respectively. These price levels are valid until noon on Friday, June 21.
