Upward movement of local Turkish rebar market continues unabated

The upward movement of the local Turkish rebar market has continued unabated since SteelOrbis’ report published on November 16 as the supply volume of domestic rebar in Turkey has declined further and also due to the depreciation of the Turkish lira against the US dollar today, November 20. It is observed that domestic rebar prices in Turkey have increased by TRY 30-60/mt since November 16, while buyers prefer to monitor the market under the current circumstances and are still concluding purchases only in line with their needs.
