It is observed that Turkish wire rod export prices have remained stable week on week at $535-545/mt FOB. This price range has gained acceptance from international buyers in the past week, with Turkish mills concluding export sales of wire rod at these prices. Market sources state that Turkish wire rod producers’ sales to Israel have continued in the past seven days, while 7,000 mt of Turkish wire rod have been sold to this destination in the current week. On the other hand, Far Eastern buyers have concluded deals for Turkish rebar for large tonnages over the past week at levels closer to the lower end of the above price range. SteelOrbis has been informed that Turkish wire rod export prices have moved sideways after the sales in question.
