Wire rod prices in Turkey have moved up amid the positive sentiment in the import scrap segment and the rapid currency fluctuations over the past week. Extended delivery perios are also a long-standing issue for this product.

Most mills are offering for December delivery, while a few mills have stopped quoting due to extended delivery periods amid full order books and ongoing export shipments.

One Iskenderun-based mill opened its mesh grade wire rod sales at $850/mt ex-works today, remaining stable.
