Over the past week, demand for Turkish wire rod in the export markets has increased slightly, though it has failed to reach strong levels. Meanwhile, Turkish wire rod exporters have maintained their price offers unchanged at $590-610/mt FOB. Market sources state that Turkish wire rod producers’ offers to Israel and North Africa, their traditional markets, are mostly near the low end of the given price range.
