Turkish wire rod producers have reflected the rapid increase seen in import scrap prices over the past two weeks in their export prices this week. Accordingly, it is observed that Turkish wire rod export quotations have increased by $10/mt week on week to $570-580/mt FOB. Meanwhile, market sources report that wire rod demand both in Turkish producers' domestic and export markets is at good levels, and so, due to orders on hand, the production capacities of most mills are fullly booked until the end of January.
