Following the rises recorded in global scrap prices over the past week, quotations of both domestically produced and import billet in Turkey have increased. As a result, Turkish wire rod producers have raised their export prices by $10/mt on the upper end week on week to $590-610/mt FOB. Market sources state that the price range in question has gained acceptance from buyers and deals have been concluded at these levels.
