Turkish wire rod export prices

Demand for Turkish rebar exports in the international markets have remained at low levels during the past week, while Turkish exporters’ wire rod offers have moved sideways in the same period at $550-560/mt FOB.

Turkish wire rod sellers’ export prices are considered to be on the high side by international buyers, while they have kept their export offers stable week on week amid the falls seen in global iron ore prices during the Monday-Wednesday period (Aug. 14-16) this week and also due to the very slight increase recorded in import scrap purchase quotations in Turkey
