Turkish traders win 90,000 mt rebar supply tender for Ethiopia

SteelOrbis has learned from market sources that a rebar supply tender for 90,000 mt, which was opened about three months ago for an Ethiopian housing project, has been concluded lately, with two Turkish companies winning the tender.
 
Accordingly, 60 percent of the total 90,000 mt of once folded rebar has been awarded at a price of $618/mt FOB, while the remaining 40 percent of the material required has been awarded at about $622-623/mt FOB.
