Domestic rebar prices in Turkey’s Marmara and Karabuk regions have increased slightly today, October 15. Market sources indicate that rebar supply in Iskenderun and Izmir region is limited, and so prices in those regions have remained stable. Also this tightness in supply in Izmir and Iskenderun regions is leading buyers to turn to Karabuk and Marmara regions for purchases.
Today, October 15, Turkish mill Icdas has kept its 12-32 mm rebar prices unchanged at TRY 2,492/mt ($422/mt) ex-works, while Izmir Demir Celik has increased its price 12-32 mm rebar prices by TRY 42/mt ($9/mt) to TRY 2,500/mt ($424/mt) ex-works, both excluding VAT.
