Turkish spot rebar prices move sideways

Domestic rebar prices in Turkey have moved sideways today, October 17. Market sources indicate that local buyers are adopting a wait-and-see stance to see whether scrap price will increase further.

Today, October 17, Turkish mill Icdas has kept its 12-32 mm rebar prices unchanged at TRY 2,492/mt ($424/mt) ex-works, while Izmir Demir Celik has also kept its price 12-32 mm rebar prices stable at TRY 2,500/mt ($425/mt) ex-works, both excluding VAT.
