Turkish spot rebar prices increase slightly

Domestic rebar prices in Turkey have increased slightly further today, October 14, due to the depreciation of the Turkish lira against the US dollar.

Today, Turkish mill Icdas has increased its 12-32 mm rebar prices further by TRY 51/mt ($3/mt) to TRY 2,492/mt ($421/mt) ex-works, while Izmir Demir Celik has also raised its price 12-32 mm rebar prices by TRY 17/mt ($3/mt) to TRY 2,458/mt ($415/mt) ex-works, both excluding VAT. Izmır Demir celik closed its rebar sales in the afternoon.
