Today, July 6, Turkish domestic rebar spot prices have risen by TRY 30-50/mt ($3-4/mt) in the Iskenderun and Karabuk regions, remained stable in the Izmir region, while decreasing by TRY 30/mt ($3/mt) in the Marmara region. Accordingly, 12 mm rebar spot prices in Turkey are now at TRY 7,250-7,350/mt or $709-718/mt ex-warehouse, depending on the region.
In the Marmara region, most mills are currently offering rebar at $730-740/mt ex-works, while in the Izmir region the rebar price range has settled at $710-730/mt ex-works.
In the Karabuk region, Yolbulan A.S. has opened its rebar price at TRY 7,350/mt ($718/mt) ex-works today.In the Iskenderun region, Bastug Metallurgy has closed its rebar sales, while most re-rollers have closed their rebar sales in order to gain a better understanding of the rebar price trend.
