SteelOrbis has been informed that demand received by Turkish rebar suppliers from the international market has been at low levels over the past week. Due to their higher production costs resulting from the increased import scrap quotations in Turkey, Turkish rebar producers have raised their export offers by an average of $25/mt week on week to $490-500/mt FOB. On the other hand, Turkish rebar suppliers have concluded sales of small tonnages to Israel and Yemen, though demand for Turkish rebar in these destinations is not very lively.
