Turkish mill Kardemir sells 60,000 mt of rebar

Turkish integrated steel mill Kardemir has closed its domestic rebar price in the local market as of today, May 29, having sold approximately 60,000 mt of rebar at TRY 2,763/mt ($406/mt) ex-works.

The key reasons for the sales were advantageous payment terms and the sentiment among local traders that the rebar market may gain some momentum in June

Prices exclude 18 percent VAT.

$1 = TRY 6.81
