Today, February 15, Turkish mill Icdas has increased its domestic rebar price in the local currency by TRY 10/mt to TRY 5,040/mt ex-works amid stronger scrap and currency fluctuations. The US dollar equivalent of the offer has increased by $5/mt to $610/mt ex-works compared to Friday, February 12. Meanwhile, the steelmaker has also issued its wire rod price at TRY 5,870/mt ($711/mt) ex-works, up by TRY 50/mt ($11/mt) over the same period.
Prices on Turkish lira basis include 18 percent VAT, while offers on US dollar basis do not.
