Turkish mill Icdas revises its long prices to offset currency fluctuations

Today, February 8, Turkish mill Icdas has decreased its domestic rebar price in the local currency by TRY 120/mt to TRY 4,880/mt ex-works, while the US dollar equivalent of the offer has dropped by $5/mt compared to February 4 to $585/mt ex-works. Meanwhile, the steelmaker has also issued its wire rod price at TRY 5,670/mt ($680/mt) ex-works, with minor changes on US dollar basis and with a TRY 80/mt decrease in the local currency over the same period.

Prices on Turkish lira basis include 18 percent VAT, while offers on US dollar basis do not.
