Turkish mill Icdas raises its wire rod price by $10/mt

Today, May 21, Turkish steel producer Icdas has raised its wire rod prices by TRY 110/mt ($10/mt) to TRY 8,210/mt ($830/mt) ex-works amid currency fluctuations and relatively better demand than for rebar.

The producer has also increased its rebar price by TRY 10/mt to TRY 7,420/mt ex-works, while keeping its price stable on US dollar basis at $750/mt ex-works.

Prices on Turkish lira basis include 18 percent VAT, while offers on US dollar basis do not.

$1 = TRY 8.38
